Political Correctness
Political Correctness – or to use its more common name ‘Woke’ – has become a very strong force in the world in the last 20 years or more.
In some ways, it has done a lot of good. It has eradicated older, archaic terms that are just offensive and outdated.
But in other ways, it could be said that is is policing our language and how we speak.
This lesson plan broaches on some highly-contentious subjects.
But it is bound to cause a lot of discussion in your English class!
