The Trick

Tom runs a toy shop in town. One quiet afternoon, a old-fashioned man walks into his shop and introduces himself.
He produces a pack of cards and performs a simple trick.
Tom is unimpressed but buys some of his magic cards anyway. The man leaves.
Then he finds out what trick the man really performed.

This is an entertaining short story and lesson plan for any English or ESL class.
